On a hard disk, even one file is distributed and preserved on a platter, so this is called fragmentation. Due to the nature of the device, it is possible to read and write continuous data preserved in the platter at a relatively high speed, but when reading and writing data that are recorded on the platter being scattered, the speed of reading and writing slows down because it takes more time for the arm to move the head. Inside the hard disk, the disk-shaped magnetic disk (platter) rotates at high speed and a device called Head is controlled by the arm to read and write data. If the loading time is extremely long at the beginning of the battle or when you are trying to open the client, the location where the game client is installed (storage) may be the cause of the problem. ・A client is installed on the hard disk.Anyone seen something like that on the net or perhaps remember actual facts from the books? How do I tell someone that their precious Star Destroyer is toast no matter how many terawatts they put out? It might be a childish wish, but hey. However, the smug attitude of hard core Star Wars fans gets invariably annoying once they start churning out the weird planet-killing supership stuff from EU, so I always wish I could say 'hey, how 'bout putting Empire vs a real scifi power player like Culture.' However, I have no list of 'things that culture ships can do. It's like a distillated geekery version of 'my dad can beat up your dad'. I never have anything contribute to these threads as I don't have a degree in scifi physics, but they're fun to read. Starts pretty normal, people start heating up, and Star Wars guys come up with these numbers and maths that prove a tie fighter cannon puts out so many jigawatts etc etc. All right, this has happened to me twice now in different forums: the classic debate of Star Wars vs Star Trek vs Babylon 5 vs whatnot comes up.
